چکیده

Abstract We present a detailed study of the massive star-forming region G35.2-0.74N with Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) 1.3 mm multi-configuration observations. At 0.?2 (440 au) resolution, continuum emission reveals several dense cores along filamentary structure, consistent previous ALMA 0.85 0.?03 (66 we detect 22 compact sources, most which are associated filament. Four sources centimeter emission, and two these H30 ? recombination line emission. The kinematics shows ordered motion ionized gas, disk rotation and/or outflow expansion. construct models photoionized regions to simultaneously fit multiwavelength free–free fluxes total fluxes. derived properties suggest presence at least three young stars nascent hypercompact H ii regions. Two surrounded by large rotating structure that feeds individual disks, revealed gas tracers, such as SO 2 , CO, CH 3 OH. In particular, highlights spiral structures in one disks probes faster-rotating inner disks. 12 CO from general complex four outflows identified. remaining 18 expected be lower-mass protostars forming vicinity stars. find potential evidence for disruption due dynamic interactions this protocluster. spatial distribution suggests smooth overall radial density gradient without subclustering, but tentative primordial mass segregation.

Binary Capture Rates for Massive Protostars

The high multiplicity of massive stars in dense, young clusters is established early in their evolution. The mechanism behind this remains unresolved. Recent results suggest that massive protostars may capture companions through disk interactions with much higher efficiency than their solar mass counterparts. However, this conclusion is based on analytic determinations of capture rates and esti...

Massive protostars as gamma-ray sources

Context. Massive protostars have associated bipolar outflows with velocities of hundreds of km s. Such outflows can produce strong shocks when interact with the ambient medium leading to regions of non-thermal radio emission. Aims. We aim at exploring under which conditions relativistic particles are accelerated at the terminal shocks of the protostellar jets and can produce significant gamma-r...

Scale Robust Multi View Stereo

We present a Multi View Stereo approach for huge unstructured image datasets that can deal with large variations in surface sampling rate of single images. Our method reconstructs surface parts always in the best available resolution. It considers scaling not only for large scale differences, but also between arbitrary small ones for a weighted merging of the best partial reconstructions. We cr...
